What's New With This Release

New with Avaya Communication Manager 3.1, it is now possible to configure an S8500 as a Local Survivable Processor (LSP). S8500 as an LSP positions the S8500 Media Server as a higher capacity LSP for larger remote sites of a distributed enterprise and also provides Enterprise Survivability, similar to ESS, as it may serve as a "regional" survivable server for multiple H.248 gateways.
